Did I just dream 2008 away or did it actually fly by so quickly? Somehow, turning 60 makes me start counting time a little differently. Instead of thinking how old I am as I did when I was young, or saying "When will it ever get here?" I've started thinking
more in terms of "How much time is left?" "If I'm going to get it done I really need to get with it." May we all be blessed this New Year with a good measure of health, a good state of mind, a good relationship with God, an upturn in the economy, jobs that we actually get to keep, and an end to the horrible wars that break out
around the world. I was travelling all through the Christmas season, and have just checked some back email to learn of the death of one of our classmate's Father. Mary Ann Dennis Graves lost her father, Melvin G. Dennis, on December 18. Our heartfelt condolences to Mary Ann and her family. I was saddened to read Linda's email to the
class about Joan Boudreaux's death on December 26. At the same time, we're glad to learn that Sandra Boudreaux's husband, Allen, only has 3 treatments left and has had little side effects so far. Their son, Ben, will be leaving around January 9 or 12 to go back overseas with the military. He's a career serviceman. Pray for his safety,
Allen's complete healing, and for all our countrymen for a wonderful and happy New Year!! God Bless You All! Terry Broome
