Subject: Prayer Request from Sandra Dupre Boudreaux for her husband Allen Boudreaux

Dear Prayer Warriors,

In late October we got a message that Sandra Dupre Boudreaux's husband, Allen, had surgery for bladder cancer.  At that point they were waiting for results but optimistic that it was either contained or there may have been a few cells out of the bladder.

Beginning on Monday, December 8, Allen was to begin a six weeks, once a week chemotherapy treatment for first stages of bladder cancer.  Since there are five stages of this type cancer, it appears they caught it early.  Sandra is optimistic though a bit stressed and wants to share with her classmates the news for their prayers.  Will you join me in prayer that God will provide the blessing of healing and that this method of treatment will be successful with His blessing.

I want to wish each of you a wonderful and Merry Christmas, and share in a prayer with you all that we will have a much better New Year as a nation.  Personal righteousness can go a long way toward restoring the values that once made our country great.  Please spend much time in prayer that God will heal the land.  And may each of you have a happy New Year!!

Did I just dream 2008 away or did it actually fly by so quickly? Somehow, turning 60 makes me start counting time a little differently. Instead of thinking how old I am as I did when I was young, or saying "When will it ever get here?" I've started thinking

more in terms of "How much time is left?" "If I'm going to get it done I really need to get with it." May we all be blessed this New Year with a good measure of health, a good state of mind, a good relationship with God, an upturn in the economy, jobs that we actually get to keep, and an end to the horrible wars that break out

around the world. I was travelling all through the Christmas season, and have just checked some back email to learn of the death of one of our classmate's Father. Mary Ann Dennis Graves lost her father, Melvin G. Dennis, on December 18. Our heartfelt condolences to Mary Ann and her family. I was saddened to read Linda's email to the

class about Joan Boudreaux's death on December 26. At the same time, we're glad to learn that Sandra Boudreaux's husband, Allen, only has 3 treatments left and has had little side effects so far. Their son, Ben, will be leaving around January 9 or 12 to go back overseas with the military. He's a career serviceman. Pray for his safety,

Allen's complete healing, and for all our countrymen for a wonderful and happy New Year!! God Bless You All! Terry Broome
